• N type: The n-type cylindrical bearing has two integral ribs on the inner ring that retain the rollers and cage. There is no thrust capacity.
• NJ type: These support heavy radial loads and have the ability to carry light, unidirectional thrust loads that are up to 10 percent of the radial load. Moreover, these have two integral ribs on the outer ring and a single rib on the inner ring.
• NU type: These are the most popular in line-up with a separable inner ring and a cage and roller complement mounted to the outer ring. No thrust capacity.
• NUP type: These are able to carry incidental thrust loads in both directions and can be used with a RN or RU for accommodating axial expansion and contraction. Two integral.
